Director & Producer - Annika v. Schütz
A Master of Arts in Media, Annika is a filmmaker herself. Her award-winning documentary "Set up to sell - Surfing as a lifestyle product" (2018) kept her driving through the European Atlantic coast. A German native who has been working in theatre, television and film festivals in Berlin, considers herself a resident of the world. She started „Femme Ocean“ as a sponsored resident artist at LAC, Laboratório Actividades Criativas, in Lagos and keeps living in Portugal. Thanks to a great network to the international surf scene, she is always in contact with interesting surfers, surf journalists and environmental activists from around the world. Camera - Sunny Breger
Sunny is born in Germany 1990. As she was always atracted by the diversity of the world and the ocean, aged 15 she spend some time in New Zealand, then got to know Mexico and other places of the world. After learning photography at IVASFOT | Instituto Vasco de Fotografia in San Sebastán and a lot of self teaching she studied film and post production at Restart - Instituto de Criatividade Artes e Novas Tecnologias in Lisbon. Her main focus lies on short clips portraying people and bringing great ideas to life. Sunny is a passionate skater and surfer.

Montage & Dramaturgie - Nadja Werner
Nadja Werner studied Culture and Media Studies in Lüneburg and the MA Staging of Arts and Media at University of Hildesheim. After graduating with distinction, she moved to Italy to attend a three year course at ZeLIG – School for Documentary, where she specialised in film editing. She edited the documentary COME SE NULLA FOSSE, which was screened on several Filmfestivals. In 2019 her graduation film THEODOR by Maria B. Boldrin premiered in the international competition of the 60. Festival dei Popoli and won there the distribution award SVOD tenk. After graduation she worked as additional editor for the cinema documentary THE WALL OF SHADOWS by Eliza Kubarska, which premiered at Hot Docs 2020, won lots of international Filmfestival awards and was announced for theatrical release in Germany for November 2020. Nadja lives and works as freelance editor in Berlin.

Valerie Schlieper is born and raised in the Black Forest, Germany. She is in love with the mountains and the snow and discovered soon the love for the ocean, waves and surfing. Traveling the world following her heart and living by the ocean in California, France, Fuerteventura and the Baltic Coast gave her the chance to capture some of her favorite waves and liquid moments. Based in Munich, she keeps on working as a freelance designer and photographer with the motive to have enough time to follow the call of the ocean.

Camera - João Cabrita Silva
João Cabrita Silva is a photographer and filmmaker from Luz in Algarve, Portugal and very passionate about his work. He is a real water man whose life is based on surfing, speerfishing and the inspiration of nature. Either under the water or on the cliffs, João always keeps exploring with his camera in the hands and the surfboard next to it.
