Joana Andrade

Joana has the right dose of craziness. The only female Portuguese big wave surfer lives in Ericeira and her life tool is the path of spirituality. Besides boxing and apnoe training, she meditates regularly. Mindwork is the first step to face fear and transform it. „Feel the fear and do it anyway“ is written as a tattoo on her arm and reminds her to step out of her comfort zone no matter if related to big waves or daily challenges. We all have fears, but the important thing is not to give in to them but to turn them into a super power.
